| I'm using 3D Home Architect Design Suite Deluxe 8 top floor not editable.? I'm designing a 3 story house with a basement and all of a sudden I cannot select or modify anything on the third floor. I can add walls and furniture and stuff but once they are placed I cant move or edit them. Help! |
| Hi there. I am interested in learnign some good tips on what furniture to take in the basement. We have a basement and I do want to just stuff old things in there and make it useless. I would want that basement to be clear, good looking and accessible by people who might be visiting the house. Hope you can share here lots of great tips and suggestions. | One of the most important parts of the house is the basement. In this room I usually put some stuff that I don't really use but I don't know I am going to arrange them well. I think I need to put storage or cabinets in the basement. Any suggestion about basement furniture that I may use? It is quite big so I have enough space for any kinds of furniture. |
| Don't you get kinda claustrophobic in your basement? My grandfather's old house used to have it and I never enjoyed going there because I felt that I couldn't breathe because it had no windows. I guess if yours have enough windows and good ventilation, then it won't be as enclosed as my grandfather's basement. Perhaps, a minimalist approach would do wonders to make its interiors look cool and relaxing. It could be your place of refuge at home. |
| Yes, basement is definitely one of the most useful part of the house. I really find it very useful because this is also where I usually store the things that I do not use. I am a very neat person and I normally want my stuff organized. Maybe in the future, when I decide to utilize my basement as a room, I will have to buy some basement furniture. Good day! |
| I do believe that the question is about how to design a house on the computer and not an actual house that the questioner is having difficulty making changes too. That would be a rather unique predicament. For your actual problem, however, if I were you, I would take it as a sign that the 3D program is trying to give you some real life experience in a computerized world, as once a house is built, large changes generally can't be made. |

Hi Marynor, You say right that basement is one of the most important part of the house. A basement is below the ground floor. It can be used for storage items and it can be designed as a work office. |
