fifties retro lamp shade repair

Thank author of this post/commentI am looking for lacing material that can be used to repair fifties fiberglass lampshades. The lacing is used in an overcast stitch to hold the fiberglass to the frame and shows prominently as part of the design. I can't find anything suitable at the major hobby shops. Please help.

Thanks,

Marilyn

Here is website, you might be able to buy some from. Or you can just go to Micheal's they sell lacing for leather kits or for boondoggle. I hope this helps you.
