| Sears Drain Board Kitchen Sink Cabinet Not sure if anyone is still reviewing these posts but I have just refinished my drain board kitchen sink cabinet. I purchases a fixer upper, built 1920 back in April 2010 and have just gotten around to refinishing my sink. I took off the doors, hardware and took out the drawers, cleaned thoroughly. Spray painted with Valspar primer, 2 coats, Valspar enamel paint 2 coats and 1 coat of appliance paint. Also painted the inside. It looks fabulous and was much easier than I thought. The appliance paint gives it a wonderful shine to it as well as is a harder surface. I have an antique Hoosier (actually a Ducth Kitchenet) that has the porcelain pull out work top, and I will be stripping the "flat white paint" someone previously rolled on and spraying with the appliance paint as well. I have already refinished my old bake table (porcelain top) and it turned out very good. Its time consuming but wonderful when your done and you see your cabinets "almost" the way they were when they were purchased 60+ years ago. |

| Wow that sounds great. How I wish I could see a picture of your work, and perhaps I can make something similar to you. A person who is creative can always do something to improve his home as long as there are available materials that you can utilize for making simple furniture and house display. Drain board kitchen sink cabinet are very useful in the kitchen so good thing you have made one. |
| It is really important that we do consider learning how to do stuffs all by ourselves because it seems that everything are so expensive, most especially services. Good thing that there are those do it yourself manuals made available for those who are interested in doing stuffs all by themselves. By the way. I myself is also into some good guides on making stuffs. These guides really helped me a lot and makes me save a lot from fees from services. |

I have a friend that is an interior designer and I know how important that people would love to have this matter fix as soon as possible. I hope it will be as soon as possible . |
| i love the idea of the DIY or do it yourself scheme that it has been popular nowadays. the furniture that are sold are usually in an easy to carry plastic bag container such as tables, chairs, cabinets and garden sets available in easy packages that when you arrive at home you can connect the parts doing it by yourself with an instruction manual of course and then wallah, ! it is done! |
