Local fabric store There is a local fabric store here in town that I believe has the best deals on furniture fabric. I have gone there several times and have never been disappointed. My sister in law bought this beautiful chenille fabric to redo a chair that she's going to put in the nursery and it turned out beautiful!!
Oooh I'm jealous! The only local fabric store is Hobby Lobby which is okay but I would rather visit a store that only dealt with sewing related items. Hobby Lobby does have some great discounts sometimes though!
There's only one fabric store left in our town now and it's at Joanne's Fabric. The other craft store where I would usually get my fabric closed down (they just couldn't compete with Michael's and Joanne's). They really do have a big variety of fabrics available.
We have Wal-Mart, Hobby Lobby, and Jo-Ann for fabric. I wouldn't attempt covering furniture myself. I'm not that ambitious. :-/
