| Not many leftIn this age of informality, negative informality bordering on uncivilized behaviour, the concept of the formal dining room has taken a beating.The height of education and good manners is revealed in a formal dinner. Thatīs where the men are separated from the boys, and the girls from the ladies. So many houses do not have a formal dining room any more. And, mind you, not because of lack of money, but due to ignorance about the main fact in life: elegance. Elegance is the basic factor that fixes all the rest of the wrong things in the world. So, the suggestion is to go back to the old style formal dining room. Just my two cents! Cheers1 |
