Seat of comfort?

Thank author of this post/comment##DPhttp://bp.office1000.com/vp5/5143SFC.jpg!200!235##DPWere these accessories for the TaskMaster Series created to give users a hard time constructing it before they can have a comfortable industrial chair?

It is the first time that I came across a do-it-yourself chair like this that is normally sold in one piece. And take note, each item is sold separately. Well, this is advantageous to those who just need to replace a particular part of the chair but this is not for any type of chair because it is only for TaskMaster Series chairs.

Yes, in fact, the available accessories are only the closed loop arm rest and the t-pad arm rests, which can only be used for model numbers 5111, 5113, 5118 and 5120. Very limiting, huh? There's also a chrome plated 20" diameter footring with a black base and a 50mm shelf opening.

Most of the materials used for the arm rests are polyurethane while the footrest was constructed of 1/4" thick glass-filled polypropylene.

Looking at the picture of the product, I wondered why the parts did not include the back rest and the seat itself. Does that mean the makers of the TaskMaster Series think that only the arm rest and footrest mostly get damaged in their chair units?

Come to think of it, I would have to agree with the TaskMaster Series about this observation. Even other similar office chairs have the same problem because the arm rests and the foot ring are the first one to go and when this happens, the chair won't be usable anymore, right?

Not for the TaskMaster Series because you can buy spare parts to replace them. Now, I'm beginning to see the purpose of selling these accessories.

Having them would extend the life and usage of your office chair.

Although you have to admit that there is more to the office chair than the arm rest and the foot ring. The back rest and the main seat are most important.

The back rest, in fact, is crucial because it should provide good lumbar support to prevent back ache for its users. You know how office workers sit on their chairs all day and this is the reason why a lot of them have chronic back aches. Hence, it is important to get a chair that will prevent this from happening.

Needless to say, the main seat (is there another name for this?) is the most important because this is the essence of the chair. Without it, the chair won't be a chair anymore, would it? I prefer to sit on a chair that has a cushion. It provides comfort and allows my butt to rest.

Maybe this product description should also say something about the durability of its back rest and main seat, which is why the makers of the TaskMaster series only came up with their spare parts.
