Wall Mural

Thank author of this post/commentI was recently at a friend's home who just recently had a baby. She had a muralist come in and do a jungle theme throughout the nursery room. It was gorgeous!!

Thank author of this post/commentHow cool would that be to have a huge mural on your wall? I have seen them on tv of course I actually think I have seen them on A Baby Story and they were all so cute. One had little pixie fairies floating all around the room. Another was a football field with the fans and everything. They were really neat. I wonder how much it would cost to have one done though? I can basically paint a stick figure but I guess that wouldn't cut it in the world of murals.

Thank author of this post/commentWell for my daughter's room I had my brother come in and paint butterflies in her room, almost as if it were a butterfly garden and he did it free of charge...a gift to me. I certainly lucked out in that department. However, I have heard that it can get into the thousands to have someone come into your home and paint a mural!! Yikes!!

Dead Like Me
Thank author of this post/commentMy husband's cousin had a muralist come in and paint in her daughter's room. I don't remember what she painted, though, and we don't live nearby. I do remember that she painted something on the rocking chair as well.

Lounging on the sofa
Thank author of this post/commentWhat a wonderful thing to do for your child. What's the best way to find a muralist and how much should you expect to pay?

Thank author of this post/commentHello everyone,

You can do a google to see some MINDBLOWING muralists and the work they have done in various baby nursery rooms. Painting it yourself or having someone come in and paint it is great when you can do it but most of us do not have the talent or the budget to do it.

There is a very easy way to cheat here and still make it look like you have done a LOT of leg work in the nursery decoration department.

You can buy a very simple to install nursery mural and they come in all shapes and sizes. We have a 3 month old boy and we have a dolphin mural on his wall and it looks AMAZING.

We got it here - www.ourbabynursery.com - click on the mural section.

They are available for both little boys and little girls as well.

This one is a Magical Under The Sea Mural which is very cute as well. (The links are too long to post but you can see it on the link above in the mural section)

Anyway, just a heads up! Saved us a lot of time, it slaps up in a few minutes and it is a perfect fit with the theme of the nursery!

Hope this helps!

Mike
