| Questions: Could I be evicted for this? Okay my new apartment does allow pets, but they wanted a ridiculous deposit and a monthly pet rent. Normally I am a rule follower but I think pet rent is like furniture rent, neither my pet nor my furniture can pay rent and I'm already paying rent so I decided not to put my dog on the lease. He's well behaved, house broken and never barks so I'm not too worried about them finding out. But in the event that they did what would happen? I'd be willing to pay the deposit and back rent if we get caught, but if this is something that I could actually be evicted for then I would rather go add him on the lease. Anyone have any knowledge or experience on these matters?? Thanks. |
