Yahoo! Answers: how to keep a pet rat away from places it shouldnt go? apart from actual physical barriers, is there a way to train them not to go places like under the fridge, behind furniture, etc? i usually just push her to face the other direction or move her, but i was just wondering if there was a proper way to stop her. i mean when they are out of the cage playing
I think it is just a matter of conditioning and training. Having pets like rats is really fun. I presume that these kinds of animals are quite hard to breed but when you are used to it, you won't find difficulty in breeding them. I think you can handle training your pet rats. Do you have more than one rat? You could probably provide a bigger cage so you can leave them and play there in a wider place.
Short Answer: Do not keep a pet rat, but do everything within your power to keep rats away from your house, including traps and poisons. If you still want a pet rat, then how about using a cage to keep it where it should be? Do you really mean you want a rat as your pet or something cuter and fuzzier such as a hamster of guinea pig? Cheers to you!
It is important that we do provide a much wider cage for our little pets to play and enjoy. My little son have a pet rodent and he enjoyed taking care and playing with it and I liked the idea of him having that sense of responsibility as he takes care of his pet. And yeah, it is quite interesting as well on how you can pick up the best furniture for your pets. For it would be very beneficial for them.
does not a cage mean anything to you? this is a very simple question that would need very simple answers. if you do not want to freak out your guests and die with fright, go buy a cage for those rodents. they are not supposed to go around the house like it is theirs
I am a certified pet lover. I really love taking care of these pets. They were like a family to me especially the dogs. I have lots of dogs at home and they are the one who always entertain me and make me happy especially when I am down. I really hope that a lot of people feel the same way towards pets. Like us, they also act like humans and they all have a heart of an infant; pure and vulnerable. That is why I am also particular in having pet furniture to have their safety and so as the people around me.
