| I have contemporary style canvas that has different overlapping circles.? The colors in the canvas include green, brown, orange, yellow, white, and black. My sofas are black and I am unsure of what kind of rug to get. Should I go with a patterned rug and what kind? stripes? circles?? or solid since the painting itself is busy. Help! I like the contemporary look. |
| Hi Ada Great question ! I would go for a solid colour in the rug. Don't go for stripes or patterns as the painting will not stand out as much. I get that you are wanting the canvas to be the feature and to decorate the room around it. This is a great idea, and anyone can decorate their home starting with just one item. A beautiful vase, rug, cushions, or as in your case, a canvas. Choose one of the colours from the painting, for your rug. |
| I am more attracted to printed rugs. I think they look more modern to me. I mostly have wooden furniture and I think they suit more with the printed rugs. But the most important thing for me is the proper cleaning of rugs so that it will also stay longer. There are different designs of rugs we can buy in the store or even online. | I love printed rugs as well. I may not be that good in decorating but somehow I am attracted with good colored and printed rugs. I have some in my home and I use them in rare occasions especially when I am expecting special people in my place I would love to shop online for some as well. | Same is true with me. I also love printed rugs but what I love most is the one made by my mother out of used clothes using her bare hands. My grandmother has taught her how to make it. It is really colorful. But sometimes I would also prefer having black ones because light colored rugs easily becomes dirty and the beauty becomes useless. Have a great day ahead of you. |
| I think, you should see some interior designer for that product or for the plan you have. It is quite interesting that people like you is now in great conscious about the proper combination of texture about the place they have. Rugs are important in doing that so. I hope many people would love to know much about that area. I am planning to see some info about it soon. |
