Article: How to Fix Scratches on your Wooden Furniture

Thank author of this post/commentYou walk to your living room and appreciate that expensive wooden sofa set that makes up as the defining feature of the room. You admire the curves and the color of your wooden sofa, only to realize upon closer inspection that there is a deep scratch on the surface of your beloved furniture. You don't know where it came from, but you are very sure that you want to take it off.

Buff it out, sand it down an reapply stain. If this doesn't work, go to a carpenter with the old piece and ask him to refurbish a new one. The design would be a little different but it would at leas look better then an ugly gouge.

I also prefer buying wooden furniture. I think they are better than any other kinds of furniture. They also suit in the structure of my house and the fact that I live in a suburban area, it cools the feeling to have wooden furniture at home.

The maintenance is not that hard. There are small materials for refinishing and fix scratches in my furniture. T

I am fond of buying extraordinary furniture that can suit in the structure of my house. My house is made of strong different woods. The design and structure would be a little different from other house in our community. But I really like it so much. So I prefer to buy wooden furniture in order to suit in my house. Right now I am collecting different antiques to add mysterious effect to it.

Small scratches can be easily hidden using paste wax or an oil/varnish blend such as Danish Oil.
