| Yahoo! Answers: Best way to fix uneven staining on hardwood floors.? My husband has no experience with refinishing hardwood floors and didn't research the best way to do (just got misleading tips from a friend). We sanded our oak hardwood floors an then my husband stained it with Minwax ebony stain. The next day I looked and it is uneven and lighter in some places. What would be the best way to fix it? Would applying more stain in certain areas work or make it stand out? Please don't say we have to sand it again! |
