I sure could use a hand on this project.[1] I am trying to repair a large dresser drawer unit for a client who's drawer slides have failed.the slides themselves are ball bearing style but most unusual in design.[2] They are mounted on the side of the drawers in a 5/8 inch wide slot that has been dadoed into the side of the drawer.[3] the slides themselves are 18 inches long, almost 5/8 inch tall and close to 1/2 inch wide.[4] Using an alternative side mounted slide is problematic because there is only an 1/8 inch of clearance between the sides of the drawer and the dresser.[5] Using bottom mounted slides are problematic as well so my question for help here is; is anyone familiar with these type of ball bearing style drawer slides and are the still available for purchase Any advise would be greatly ...
